The Ministry of Stewardship Management

Broad in focus, the Minsistry of Stewardship Management addresses a wide spectrum of Church life including the spiritual nurture and support of members, coordination of general church administration and management of church resources. A brief description of the ministries is included in this profile. A more detailed description can be found in the Church Handbook.

Pastor
provides pastoral leadership, preaches and teaches the Word and serves as church overseer.

Ministerial Staff
currently includes the Senior Pastor, the Pulpit Assistant, Minister of Outreach. Other ministers assist in a variety of services.

Deacons
provide assistance to the Pastor and members in the overall spiritual life of the church. 4- Trustees oversee primarily the physical and material well-being of the church.

Finance Committee
focuses on the business affairs of the church including the preparation and ad-ministration of the church budget, reports, audits and the receipt/disbursement of church funds.

Church Administrator
administers the day-to-day business operations of the church, its affiliates and the custodial/janitorial services.

Church Clerk
maintains records of all official church meetings and assists in monitoring the church membership rolls.

Financial Secretary
maintains records of general membership contributions. 15

Treasurer
works with the receipt, care and disbursement of church funds.

Endowment Fund Board
oversees the management of endowed funds and gifts.

Evangelism Committee
centers its activities on bringing persons into the church who have not professed belief in Christ and are without a church home.

Ministry Council
composed of the Pastor and Ministry Chairpersons whose duties include coordi-nating and preparing the calendar for ministry and church activities.

Loyalty Committee
focuses on member personal dedication and commitment and plans Loyalty Day activities.

Nominating Committee
receives and reviews nominations from church ministries (exception: Stewardship Management) in order to make leadership recommendations to the church.

Worship Committee
provides direction to worship activities, including music, ushering, and other components of worship.
